Avon True Nutra Effects Miracle Glow Lightweight Cleansing Oil

Hi everyone, welcome back

Miracle glow Lightweight cleansing oil dissolve makeup in an instant!

Cleansing oils have been getting more popular and I see more brands doing it. I use cleansing oils in my evening skin care routine to take off my makeup, and I have been using Miracle glow Lightweight cleansing oil for a month and I love it …. removes my makeup very well ….

Formulated with Babassu, green coffee  and passion fruit seed oil which work to maintain skin’s moisture barrier and balance skin’s natural oil production.

  • Lightweight, non-greasy cleansing oil
  • suitable for all skin types

To use, simply add a few drops and apply to dry face, next massage the product into the skin to break down makeup, next add water to transform the oil into a  cream. After, remove with a damp cotton pad or wash off the product with clean, warm water.

This oil has been working out great for me and my skin. I’m really happy with the results of this product.

The Balm Hot MaMa!

Hi everyone, welcome back

Sexy Shadow & Beautiful blush All-in-one!

Multi-purpose shadow and blush can also be used as a subtle highlighter.

Peachy hue adds a splash of colour with shimmering detail.

This would look beautiful as a stand alone highlight on darker skin tones!

It is a good quality blush, It’s quite pigmented so you have to have a light hand with it.

Most of The Balm blush are pigmented and easy to blend.

Every skin type can wear this blush.

If you need a good everyday blush that isn’t dark in color, looks natural and gives an overall glow, this is also for you.

It’s not dirt cheap and all, but for the quality of the product and the amount of product that comes in the package, this is really a good buy.

Have you tried anything from The Balm? Anything you’d recommend?

Avon Mark Magix HD Finishing Powder

Hi everyone, welcome back

Magix HD Finishing powder is translucent and has no colour so it suits different skin tones. You can use it after concealer in under eyes area, it can also be used all over the face as a thin layer by face brush to get the matte look…. The skin really looks perfect: smooth & relief….

I’ve tried it with different concealers and it worked great, never settled into fine lines and blurred the small lines and imperfections underneath my eyes.

  • Blurs and blends away imperfections.
  • Gives a flawless, airbrushed finish.
  • Colourless formula to suit all skin tone.
  • Helps eliminate shine and set makeup in place.
  • Sets the look of make-up.
  • Enriched with vitamins.

Feels very light and leaves a “photoshop” finish,
And the best thing is you only need to use small amount.
I definitely recommended …..

Thanks 😉

My Favourite foundations

Hi everyone, welcome back

I’d have to say foundations is probably my favourite beauty product to buy, because I feel it’s the most important part of my makeup routine.  I think it’s so important to have a good foundation in my makeup collection…

Estee Lauder double wear

The Estee Lauder foundation is my favourite for special occasions as it is full coverage and it does not look cakey at all and it also gives a flawless finish. Feels lightweight and so comfortable, you won’t believe it’s super long wear. Won’t change colour, smudge or come off on clothes. Lasts through heat and humidity.

Urban Decay  all Nighter Liquid Foundation

All Nighter Liquid Foundation provides full coverage with a modern matte finish that never looks overdone. long-lasting wear. Perfect for all-night , is also comfortable enough to wear every day.  Waterproof, for beautifully perfected skin as it mattifies and absorbs oil to reduce the appearance of shine.

Dior Diorskin forever Foundation

From morning to night, a perfect complexion for 16h. A luminous matte finish, a flawless complexion and unprecedented comfort, in any circumstances.

Super easy to apply. While it dries quickly to a velvety finish, there is no need to powder this foundation, unless you want to. The thing I love about this foundation is, it lasts all day and gives a lovely natural look to the skin …

L’Oreal True Match Super – blendable foundation

It’s liquid, blendable and light on the face is a medium coverage. You can work it out according to the amount of coverage you’d like. The finish is semi-matte….

I hope you enjoyed reading about some of my favourite foundations, I have in my collection and hopefully this post was useful if any of you are looking into purchasing any new products!

Thanks 😉

How to do Perfect Smoky Eyes

Hi everyone, welcome back

The dark, smoldering smoky eye makeup is the perfect look for the evening.

The smoky eye look involves the use of some heavy colours over the eye area. In general, dark shades such as grays and blacks are predominantly used to achieve this look. One rule of thumb to keep in mind is that when you are opting for such dramatic eye makeup, you should avoid using distracting colours on other parts of the face.

The focal point of your smoky eye makeup is the eyes. All other makeup should serve to highlight this feature and blend in with this look seamlessly. Opt for light, translucent blushes/light bronzer to add a hint of color to your cheeks and a pale/nude lipstick shade which sets off the smoldering eye makeup to great effect.

Using eye makeup primer is a good option to get that perfect smoky eye look. These come in powder and cream form and they help the eye shadow stay on longer. By using this, it also prevents your eye makeup from getting smudged beneath the eye lids. This helps you maintain that perfect smoky eye look all through the evening. Wipe primer across the eye and let it dry thoroughly before you get on to the next step.

When applying the eye shadow, the richest and darkest colour should always appear near/around the lash line. The colour should go lighter as it reaches the crease of your eye. The base shadow colour should always be light. You can use shimmery creams, whites, taupes, pearls or even silvers as the base colour. Stick to neutral shades for the best effects. Apply the base shadow over the lids right up to the brow bone.

Next, take a medium shade eye shadow and apply it in the crease of your eye. Use your eye shadow brush to apply the dark shade starting at the outside corner of your eye, creating a “v” shape from the end of your crease area and finishing it off into your lash line. The eye liner should not be seen once you have completed the blending. Take your blending brush and blend this dark color so that it blends in with the rest of your makeup.

One critical point to remember is that both your eyes need to match perfectly with regards to the colour tone, shade and density. Since you are blending the dark shade to achieve your smoky eye effect, matching both eyes can be a challenge unless you have enough practice with this look.

Finish off your look with a generous application of mascara. You may want to apply several coats to make your lashes appear thick and luxuriant. To add some curl to the lashes use an eyelash curler.

Thanks 😉
