L’Oréal true match concealer

Hi everyone, welcome back

L’Oreal True match is a super blendable correcting concealer, helps hide imperfections, blemishes and evens skin tone, gives a perfect base!

The application is perfect ! The consistency is crazy and is very easy to blend!  However the feel of the product is wonderful and it isn’t cakey ….

I really like this concealer. It’s easy to use, easy to blend and has a really nice finish. It has good coverage and improved the look of my under eyes.

Tips how to apply 

1. To cover dark circles:  
The best and most flattering way to conceal your eye area is to draw a triangle under your eye; blend the concealer to instantly cover dark circles and brighten cheek area.
2. To highlight
Apply to the areas of the face that naturally catch the light.
3. To finish brows:
Apply a concealer that is one shade lighter than the skin tone above and below eyebrows and blend.

Apply with sponges, brushes, or fingertips, in a thin layer and then add more thin layers if necessary.

Fall beauty routine

Hi everyone, welcome back

As you begin updating your wardrobe for fall, don’t forget about your beauty routine! When the temperatures start to cool down, there a certain changes I make to my skincare and makeup.

Whether it’s Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter; our skin needs special attention.

In Autumn the air starts becoming dryer and cooler.

Moisturize, protect and prepare the skin is very important for me….

As the air becomes drier, your skin needs a thicker moisturizer. Creams provide a stronger oily barrier, which means they both reduce water loss from the outer layer of skin and provide hydration. Applying moisturizer on your face and body is very important. On my face, I apply in the morning and evening, and on my body I like to apply after shower or bath.

Makeup

For eyeshadow, I like to swap out some of corals and pinks for some deep reds, burgundy, orange and brown shade.

Lips

Hydrating my lips is a must for me not only on fall but all year.

Trade your bright pink lipsticks for nude, berry, or red tones, add a bold lip colour to your daily makeup look. I like to use deep red or even brown lipsticks. I’m loving, brown lip colours for fall.

Fall marks the start of the cold season. Apart from changing your wardrobe, bringing out your boots and scarves, you definitely need to overhaul your makeup look.

I love this season (Autum), I think I mentioned before, this is my favourite season of the year …

Mac Concealer – Pro longwear & Select cover-up

Concealer is an essential part of any makeup routine, it hides dark circles and skin imperfections …..  There are billions of concealers out on the market, it’s hard to know which ones are going to work the best for you. MAC has a legendary reputation in the make up world and it’s assumed that they make quality products.

Here are two of my favourite concealer from mac;

Mac Pro longwear concealer – This is a fluid concealer that provides full matte coverage for up to 15 hours, with a comfortable matte finish. Gives a smoother flawless looking finish on skin, helps to conceal flaws, spots, under eye  circles and skin discolouration.

Using the right concealer can help you hide your imperfections. Opt for a shade that’s one lighter than your skin tone and apply the concealer first before any other layer of makeup. To help completely cover stubborn blemishes or dark spots…. 

When properly applied, concealer can work wonders, as well as enhancing your beauty.

AVON MARK LIQUID LIP LACQUER SWATCHES AND REVIEW

Today I have a review of the new lipsticks from Avon Mark : Matte lipstick and liquid lipstick. Today, I have a mixture of both to show you. Matte liquid lipstick and shine liquid lip lacquer. 

Yep, that’s right. Avon’s new mark. Liquid Lip Lacquer’s that come in both a matte and a shine finish. The shades are pretty much the same on both sides, just different finishes. There are 12 matte shades and 12 shine.

The matte shades gives  a velvet finish and the shine shades a moisturizing vinyl finish, but both of them with long-wearing and to never bleed or feather.

I’ve been testing it out massively over the last week to make sure that my first impressions actually lasted and fortunately they did. I personally prefer the shiny ones but matte is great as well…. Overall I love it and I definitely recommend …

Lips – Application Tips

I love to wear lipstick and take care of my lips , so today I will talk about lips …..

Lips tend to dry out because they have no sebaceous glands. Take a toothbrush and brush Vaseline or lip balm into them. This will help exfoliate any dead skin, seal in moisture and act as a primer for lipstick the waxiness works to fill cracks and smooth the lip surface. 

To prevent and treat, apply balm daily ….. 

 – Since lips contain no melanin, they need protection against the sun’s burning rays. So when you are out in the sun, protect your lips with a screen that has a high SPF.

– Use a brush when applying lipstick for a precise look. the brush allows you to get right into the corners without smudging and it ensures that you keep your colour within your lip line rather than smudging it over the edges.

-To achieve a soft, tidy line and prevent bleeding without lining lips, try soaking a cotton bud in liquid foundation, or concealer, and run it around the outside of a already- painted mouth.

– When using a lip pencil sharpen it before use. This not only ensure a precise point but also takes away any greasy residual on the pencil tip and reveals the fresh crayon underneath, making application much easier.

– After outlining the lips with a pencil, use it to colour in your lips, even if you’re applying lipstick on top. This allows colour to wear off uniformly.

-To keep lipstick off teeth, apply colour with a brush and then blot. Hold your finger horizontally between lips and bit down, pulling your finger out to remove any lipstick that colour rub off on your teeth.

– Blot your lipstick with a tissue and then reapply to build up colour and durability.
