5 Must have makeup brushes in your vanity

Every beauty enthusiast knows that it’s important to have good makeup brushes in their beauty arsenal. Today, I’m showing you my 5 must-have makeup brushes;

 

Foundation brush- One of the most ideal method for applying foundation is by using a foundation brush. Using a brush for applying foundation ensures a smooth and even application, which looks natural.

Concealer brush- As the name suggests, a concealer brush is used for concealer application.

 Blusher Brush- Use the right brush for the right job! The Blusher Brush defines cheekbones and is perfectly angled for precise and defined blush placement.

Powder brush- Apply the brush on your face with a smooth action, without giving much pressure into your face. Use a little round movement for the best possible move and finishing. Make sure it’s big and make sure it’s fluffy!

Eye shadow brush- This one definitely must have, if you want a perfect eye makeup, especially if you like a smoky eye.

Makeup – Seven steps to Perfection

Hi everyone , Welcome back

Beautiful, flawless skin is something supermodels are born with, Right? Wrong. Pair a few carefully chosen products with the right tools and techniques and make it your birthright too.

Application –Start with clean, well – moisturized skin, allowing the product time to skin in. For full coverage, dot foundation on the forehead, nose, chin and cheeks.

Blending – Blend foundation using your fingers . pressing and patting lightly into your skin, your makeup will look natural and healthy.

Concealer – Using a small brush or your finger, dot concealer around the inner and outer corners of your eyes. Gently press and blend into skin with your ring finger  but don’t rub in, as this will ‘drag’ delicate under eye skin. Best it you apply over your foundation, so that you can even out your skin tone.

Cover up – Hide any other blemishes that show through your foundation by dotting concealer with a sponge or small brush in tricky areas, such as under the jawline or around the nose. Pat it on with your finger to settle it on the skin.

To set Eye Makeup – To set concealer and foundation under and around the eyes. lightly dust them with a small, fine brush dipped in loose powder. Be careful not to apply to much; excess powder will only emphasize fine lines.

To set foundation and concealer – Use translucent powder that complements your foundation and won’t rob your skin of its natural glow.

Checks and balances – Keep an eye on your makeup throughout the day. Use a lighter formulation in summer or carry a stick foundation for easy touch-up. Avoid over-powdering if you don’t want to look caked. For a matte finish, balance out with moist lips or eyes.

10 Beauty hacks

We always want to look cute, but sometimes, we genuinely don’t have the time. The majority of us want to have our makeup, hair, and nails done at all times, but this seems to be a somewhat impossible task ;

Here are 10 of the best beauty hacks;

 

  1. If you love winged liner but don’t have the hand-eye coordination to do it perfectly, no big deal: You can clean messy edges with a cotton swab coated with petroleum jelly.
  2. To make your eyes seem brighter, use a white eyeliner to line your waterline.
  3. Gently rub aloe vera on your face before bed to reduce acne scaring.
  4. If you want more voluminous hair, wash your hair in the reverse order; apply conditioner first, let it sit for five minutes, then add shampoo, and rise.
  5. Apply baby powder onto your eyelashes before putting on mascara for longer and darker lashes.
  6. For noticeably curled lashes, use a blow dryer to heat up your eyelash curler before using it.
  7. Put concealer on your lips before applying lipstick for a professional matte look.
  8. Repair your broken lipstick with match; simply place the broken pieces back in the tub e and use a lighter to heat it up for a few seconds. Place it in the fridge and it’s good as new again.
  9. Use red or orange lipstick to conceal dark circles;
    Apply the lipstick using a brush under your eye area, then reach for your concealer as normal and apply over the top, blending in with a brush or your fingers.
  10. Apply coconut oil onto your cuticles to strengthen them.

5 Beauty product I can’t live without

Hi everyone, Welcome back to my blog;

When it comes to makeup there are certain products that I just can’t live without. I think everyone has their favorite products that they turn to time and time again. Products that help to enhance and hide my best and worst features, which is why I wanted to share with you all some of the makeup I can’t live without.

First up is concealer. I think most people would agree that concealer can be your best friend. If you’ve had a late night, bad night’s sleep or want to hide a blemish, then concealer is your answer. One of my favorite is the Maybelline instant anti-age . 

Next is foundation, for me is essential on my eveyday makeup and my favorite at the moment Dior skin Forever click here

Next up is mascara and one of my favorites is the Loreal telescopic extra black. This mascara is  a great product. Stands on lashes all day.  volumise and deliver thicker lashes that look up to 60% longer.

Moving to bronzer, I love bronze my skin. I do not have a favorite one but at the moment I love to use Makeup Revolution Bronze, shimmer & highlight all in one with this blended powder which can be blended easily. Either use swirled together, or separate to achieve the look I want.

 

Finally it’s time for the lips and one of my favorite lipstick  – YSL Rouge volupte Rouge Volupté Shine is wrapped in an elegant, romantic gold case: a true must have for every hand bag.  

 

So this is the makeup I can’t live without. What makeup could you not live without?

Hi everyone

Make the most of every minute of your busy morning beauty routine to look and feel great all day long ….. Look good and feel good all day …..

How long did it takes you to get ready in the morning?!  Maximize your beauty time window with these go- to- five- minutes routine.

  1. Apply your concealer to cover any blemishes and hide under-eyes circles. if you need more coverage, use a brush or sponge to apply a BB Cream.
  2. Apply mascara to thicken lashes, as this will give your eyes definition.
  3. Use blusher to make your face come alive. Smile and apply with a brush on the apples of your cheeks then blend outwards to the ears.
  4. Gently fill in your brows to define your eyes. draw in short lines – a hard eye brow pencil will last longer than a powder.
  5. Dust setting powder over your make – up to make sure everything stays in place.

 

Five simple steps to do in your busy morning and you will have a beautiful look for the day….

Hi everyone and welcome back , I’m here today to share what’s in my makeup bag ….

On a day -to- day I’m usually carrying a makeup bag with me. I don’t tend to need to touch up my makeup very often during the day, but I like to have these bits with me just in case. for me most important to have with me is lipsticks….

 I like to have only a few things and for me is everything I need …..

Concealer –  Maybelline fit me 

Powder – Maybelline mattifying powder

Bronze – Elizabeth Arden bronzing powder duo 

Lip balm – EOS summer fruit 

Lipsticks – L’Oreal color rich 214 / YSL rouge volupte shine 

Lip gloss – Kylie literally 

Eye liner – grandiose liner lancome 

Perfume – Si Georgio Armani
