5 Beauty product I can’t live without

Hi everyone, Welcome back to my blog;

When it comes to makeup there are certain products that I just can’t live without. I think everyone has their favorite products that they turn to time and time again. Products that help to enhance and hide my best and worst features, which is why I wanted to share with you all some of the makeup I can’t live without.

First up is concealer. I think most people would agree that concealer can be your best friend. If you’ve had a late night, bad night’s sleep or want to hide a blemish, then concealer is your answer. One of my favorite is the Maybelline instant anti-age .

Next is foundation, for me is essential on my eveyday makeup and my favorite at the moment Dior skin Forever click here

Next up is mascara and one of my favorites is the Loreal telescopic extra black. This mascara is  a great product. Stands on lashes all day.  volumise and deliver thicker lashes that look up to 60% longer.

Moving to bronzer, I love bronze my skin. I do not have a favorite one but at the moment I love to use Makeup Revolution Bronze, shimmer & highlight all in one with this blended powder which can be blended easily. Either use swirled together, or separate to achieve the look I want.

Finally it’s time for the lips and one of my favorite lipstick  – YSL Rouge volupte Rouge Volupté Shine is wrapped in an elegant, romantic gold case: a true must have for every hand bag.

So this is the makeup I can’t live without. What makeup could you not live without?

Top 5 tips for using foundation

Hi everyone , today I’ll  talk about foundation….

Image result for applying perfect foundation

Applying the foundation flawlessly is not an easy task. To achieve the perfect coverage and a glowing look, there are basic methods of applying foundation.

Top 5 tips

  • Never test foundation on your hand – it’s always a different colour from your face. Always apply it to your jawline. the right shade for you is he one that disappears into your skin.
  • if you can’t decide between two foundations shades choose the lighter one, as darker foundations create more obvious tidemarks.
  • You’re wearing too much foundation if you can’t see any of the pores on your skin. Your natural texture is supposed to show through a little.
  • If your makeup starts to shine, use blotting paper rather than reapplying powder, which can often start to look too heavy.
  •  Apply moisturizer five minutes before you start  your makeup. All bases will go on much smoothly if your skin is well hydrated. Tissue off any excess -while hydrated skin is good for foundation, greasy skin will make it slip and slide.

You can use brush or sponge for applying foundation. For blending it well you can also use the fingers of your hands where you feel need.

Don’t forget to apply foundation on ears & neck for a perfect even skin tone look. You can never neglect the most visible areas around your face.

Skin care necessities

Hi everyone and welcome back,

As you know, there is no good makeup without good skin. Makeup should enhance your natural beauty, not mask it. Taking responsibility for your skin, means getting into a proper regime and looking after it correctly each and every day.

The better you take care of yourself and your skin, the better you look. although you can’t change your genetic makeup, you can be kind to your body (sleep, water and healthy food) and you can control your skin condition.

Sleep and water are essential to great looking skin

Sleep – Try going without it and you’ll see why you need it so desperately. under-eye circles and bags are just the beginning.

Water – Whether it’s drinking eight glasses a day. washing twice a day or hydrating whenever you need it- water is crucial.

Sunscreen – To avoid wrinkles, sunburn, brown spots,, protect your face with foundations containing sun protection, even a basic foundation creates some protection from the sun’s rays.

Don’t smoke – smoking causes wrinkles, especially around the mouth.

Take it off – Leaving makeup on overnight clogs pores and is probably the worst thing you can do to your skin.

Healthy food – Avoid processed food, which is full of chemicals and preservatives.

Eat a diet rich in antioxidant nutrients; you will find vitamins A,C and E in dairy products, citrus fruits green vegetables and vegetable oil.

Moisture – Whether you opt for a gel, a cream or a lotion, you will need a moisturizer that suits your skin type. Anything too rich or unsuitable will simply block pores and create unsightly problems.

How to apply blusher

Hi everyone,

Image result for how to apply blusher

There’s no one correct way to apply blusher. The method use depends on the type of look you want to create.

Most women avoid blusher, but used correctly it can be the best beauty tool you own.

For Natural Healthy glow;

  • Apply Foundation as normal. Smile – where your cheek is naturally at its fattest is where blusher needs to  go to create a natural look.
  • Apply the blusher in a small circle, blending well. For the best results try gel blusher.Powder over the top.

For sexy cheekbones;

  • Using powder blusher, sweep colour in an art following the line of your cheekbone up from the apple of your cheek to your hairline. Keep colour light and blended.
  • Add a little shimmer on the highest point of your cheekbone nearest your eye.

Tips for using blusher

  • If you are using  powder blush, brush it only one way – going over and over or round and round with the brush creates streaks.
  • When using gel our tint blushes to contour the face, don’t just apply one big blob and try to blend it. Chances are the colour will take more  where it is first applied and you’ll find it hard to even things out. Instead, apply a blob on the apple of the cheek and to smaller blobs graduating up the cheekbone, then blend upwards towards the hairline.
  • Gel or tint blushes are best used on bare skin; They tend to stick on foundation and can be hard to blend.
  • While the shade of blush you choose is generally determined by your skin tone.

Makeup /face Powder

Hi everyone 😉

Image result for how to apply powder on face

Powder is an important part of applying your foundation, yet women rarely use it other than as hastily applied dab on a shiny nose. Once considered thick and chalky, new powder formulations are feather light and essential for setting makeup. There are two kinds of powder – loose to set your base and pressed or compact to use on its own or for touch-ups during the day. You van use it :

  • Make foundation and concealer stay in place.
  • Make lipstick last longer by gently powdering over the first lipstick application.
  • Unify foundation texture.
  • keep oily secretions at bay and absorb unwanted moisture, although too much can be ageing.

Application tips

  • Leave your foundation to settle for a few minutes before dusting on powder.
  • Dip your brush into the powder, gently blow any excess off the bristles. Work down the face to prevent particles of powder from catching superfluous facial hair and giving an uneven finish. Sweep to blend.

Choose a correct powder;

  • Always choose a shade that matches your skin.
  • Know your skin type and the coverage level you are looking for before buying a compact powder.
  • If your skin tone is on the lighter side, you can opt for a compact with a pink undertone and one or two shades lighter than your skin tone.
  • Try the product on the face and not on the back of your hand.
